I am so proud of my boy! Jaxon has just finished up playing his second season of soccer. It's funny to think that a year ago he was standing on the field crying because he was so scared and nervous. As horrible as we sound- we had to FORCE him o get out on the field (he said he really wanted to do it' he was just so nervous- we weren't forcing him to play soccer per se!). We were lucky that he had such a strong and supportive team and coach, that not only put up with him in the beginning- but included and brought him out of his shell. This year there was no stopping him. He loves it, looks forward to training and games, and has made some really great friends. And his favourite? CARNIVALS! These photos are from their last carnival this season at Kawana, where the team played the best I've ever seen them play! I might be a little bias, but I really think they're the best U7 team going!! ;)

My Boy
My poor boy has been sick for almost a week! The temperature and the coughing- but lots of sleeping and cuddles too! I feel kinda bad- we thought he was putting it on because he got sick the day before sports day at school. Don't get me wrong- he's great at all sports, and enjoys them once he gets going- it's just getting him going that's the problem! He gets so nervous about these sort of things. So I thought he might have been chucking a sickie to get out of sports day. And then he fell asleep all day. And then the temperature set in. And he's had it ever since! He's recently shared it with his sister as well- which isn't all bad- it's the quietest she's ever been!! ;) lol. No, my poor babies! So between the 2 kids and work, taking any interesting new photos has been out of the question. So I went through some of my older unedited photos, and played around with them for something to do tonight after the kids crashed out. Without realising it, most of them have been with Master J in them. So todays blog is dedicated to my perfect little man!!

Saturday's Soccer Run On
Bit behind I know, but I was privileged to be bridesmaid in my friends wedding over the weekend, and haven't had the time to get on the computer!
Master J is a member of the Under 7's Noosa Lions Soccer (football lol) club, and they had a run on with the men's team last Saturday. Master J has come a long way- he's a very shy introverted little man, and still gets so nervous that it upsets him before a game- or even training! So imagine my surprise when he was so keen to be part of the run on! And not only the run on, but be part of the half time penalty shoot out! He lined up with the other U7's & U8's at half time to shoot for goals. I'm so proud to say that Master J scored (they were shooting against a 'big' kid) and that it came down to a shoot out between him and one of his team mates. He may not have won in the end, but I am so proud that he was out there having a good time, in front of all those people, without even a second thought!
(Master J is #3!)
SCORE!!!!!
